Brandemonium: SXSW-Inspired Event Takes Over Cincinnati | October 11-14

Brandemonium

The creativity of some of the world’s most influential brands – everything from Target, Google, Microsoft, Pepsico, Southwest Airlines, Kroger and dozens more – will take center stage at Duke Energy Center October 11-14.

The debut of Brandemonium, presented by 84.51°, marks Cincinnati’s first international brand conference and festival, boasting an all-star lineup of more than 80 influential figures in business, entrepreneurship, and branding across a multitude of industries. Among them: Best-selling author Seth Godin, Damian Kulash and Tim Nordwind of the rock band OK Go, Target CMO Rick Gomez, Google’s Kirk PerryRobert Graham CEO Robert Stock, Dhani Jones, musician Paul McDonald and many more.

Brandemonium Speakers

We created the entire concept to be similar to a SXSW experience, bringing the essence of brands to life and engaging the public. Brandemonium’s conference aspect will include keynotes, panels, and workshops to allow brands, retailers, agencies and marketing consultants to immerse attendees in all aspects of their brand.

What sets Brandemonium apart is the corresponding festival (free to the public), which will give brands the unique opportunity to engage while “taking over” Cincinnati with brand activations including installations, performances, lounges, pop-up shops and more. The Brandemonium Experience Awards will recognize the best activations, juried by Adweek among categories including best overall activation, best audience engagement, best afterparty and more.

As a music festival producer, I’ve seen brands go from hanging up banners on stages to creating engagement that enhances the attendee experience. That’s the whole idea behind Brandemonium — brands are creating great experiences that stand on their own, and directly engaging consumers is becoming a larger part of today’s marketing strategies.

We’re really looking forward to immersing Cincinnati in the heart of this movement, and compared to other industry conferences, Brandemonium is a great value. Greater Cincinnati is an inexpensive place to do business and has helped make our pricing possible. If your work is touched by branding – everything from brand management to package design – Brandemonium is the place to be.

More information, conference registration and the current lineup of speakers is available at brandemonium.com. Prices increase October 1!

‘Tis the Season… to Benchmark Against Seasonal Trends

Seasons

For sites like my own, the holiday season could look quite depressing as I review analytics. Overall traffic is down along with organic traffic as my audience shifts to holiday mode and begins to put off efforts until after the New Year. It’s also a time when I have to reassure both myself and my clients that we’re performing well despite the negatives we see on month-over-month or seasonal declines. Key to reassuring yourself is to utilize Google Trends as a benchmark to analyze your traffic to. Good friends of mine own an Indianapolis pest control company. As fall turns
